Woke up this morning and read the news of David Carradine’s death. Hated him in “Kung Fu“, laughed at him in “Kill Bill” and laughed at him some more in “Big Stan“. My dad cheered because this bloke usurped Bruce Lee’s opportunity to star in the “Kung Fu” TV series. Me? I simply laughed some more. The only thing I liked about him was his pretentious voice. He’s the original pretentious shit kungfu star. Lord Steven Seagal came much later.
Carradine is not the only one who’s feeding the worms. Ultimate Spidey and Bruce Wayne are both dead as well. Of course, the comic companies try to tell us that Spidey is caught in some magickal Ultimatum Wave and Bruce Wayne is the victim of some Omega Effect or some other shit (word has it that ol’ Brucie is running about naked and chasing after cavegirls these days).
